Michelle is an educator working with adults with brain injuries at Coastline Community College for over 25 years. She thrives in an environment where the integration and application of cognitive strategies is a necessity. It’s no surprise that she coined the phrase “Making Cognitive Connections” to represent her training approach to teaching cognitive skills and technology and how the two relate to our lives at home, school, and work. Her training materials are used across the country by individuals with cognitive challenges as well as the professionals that help them.
“It’s fun to create materials that can be used by both professionals and those with cognitive challenges. I love helping people learn to use technology to compensate for many of their cognitive challenges. In fact, I can’t imagine doing anything else.”
